About Fluid Information Group

Fluid Information Group was formed in 2005 to serve the professional fleet maintenance community. As purchasing departments relentlessly drive prices down, suppliers have been forced to reduce the number of field training personnel that once provided a lot of training and support to their fleet customers. At the same time, fuels, engines, lubricants and coolants are changing at a remarkable pace. How is the community supposed to keep up with all of these changes?

Some senior professionals have taken early retirement from their fluid-supplier companies and formed Fluid Information Group to fill the information void, and to provide assistance to fleet maintenance managers in optimizing their vehicle maintenance programs, thereby reducing operating costs and improving vehicle availability.

The group has been organized by Bill Kughn, and includes a number of highly experienced former mega fleet managers and technical service representatives.
